Will Avengers: Endgame cross unrealistic $3 billion mark?
When Avengers: Endgame released worldwide it broke every single record at the box office last weekend. The film earned unimaginable $1.2 billion in its first weekend. Now all eyes on Avengers 4’s lifetime total. Regardless, even at a 50% drop off, that’s still a haul of more than $600 million, more than most films make during their entire run. Avengers 4 could hit $2 billion at record pace. For now, only 4 films have ever eclipsed $2 billion: “Avatar” ($2.7 billion), “Titanic” ($2.18 billion), “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” ($2.06 billion), and “Avengers: Infinity War” ($2.04 billion).
The big target for the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick is to chase the mighty total of Avatar, 2.7 billion, which is record to date. Surely the super-hero flick will swim past $2 billion mark 2nd weekend. This will help the movie to surpass the lifetime totals of Avengers: Infinity war, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Titanic huge total of Titanic and it will become the 2nd highest grossing movie of Hollywood of all time.
As for now the film is heading towards $3 billion mark which will be the opening of $3 billion club. If Avengers: Endgame somehow manage to achieve that monumental total, the next movie will need to take some time to surpass it. There are plenty of speculations about Avengers: Endgame from different critics that the film still won’t top Avatar, which is the highest grossing movie of all time to date. They think that major chunk of people have already seen it once or twice and it is difficult for them to watch it again, we all know that the film is very emotional and lenghty in duration and that might cost the MCU biggest flick ever a little.
