English cricketer Alex Hales dropped from ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 squad after drugs ban
England opening batsman Alex Hales withdrawn from England squads after drugs ban. He was named in England’s 15-man preliminary Cricket World Cup squad. He will not be part of World Cup 2019 after being withdrawn from all international squads following an off-field incident not related to cricket. English Batsman has failed recreational drug test and he is serving a 21-day ban handed down by England and Wales Cricket Board.
Alex Hales cited personal reasons to his county Nottinghamshire for his unavailability last week. Wicketkeeper batsman Sam Billing dislocated shuoulder and that made him unavaible for the rest of the season. James Vince would appear to be front runner as he made a career-best 190 from 154 balls against Gloucestershire last week.
England will play ODIs against Ireland and England before ICC Cricket World Cup. England are the hosts for the World Cup 2019 and will start their campaign versus South Africa.
