South African fast bowler Dale Steyn joins Euro T20 Slam
Speedstar Dale Steyn has joined Euro T20 Slam as a marquee player. Steyn, who was ruled out from Cricket World Cup 2019 due to shoulder injury will be playing with many known players around the world including Shane Watson (Australia), Brendon MucCullum (New Zealand), Shahid Afridi (Pakistan), Chris Lynn (Australia), Imran Tahir (South Africa), Babar Azam (Pakistan), Rashid Khan (Afghanistan) and others.
Euro T20 Slam will be played in Scotland, Ireland and Netherland. Six franchises, two each based in three mentioned countires. Dale Steyn is the leading wicket-taker for South Africa in Test Cricket.
Right arm quick was picked by Royal Challengers Bangalore as replacement of injured Australian pacer Nathan Coulter-Nile. After playing just two games for RCB, Steyn was forced to pull out of IPL 2019 because of his shoulder injury which later on kept him out of World Cup 2019 campaign as well without playing a game in ICC tournament.
Euro T20 Slam will be played from August 30 to September 22.
