Pakistan leaves Mohammad Amir out of Cricket World Cup squad
There were plenty of speculations that Pakistani pace Mohammad Amir might not able to find his place in World Cup squad and that’s exactly what happened when Selection committee led by great ex Pakistani batsman Inzamam Ul Haq- announced their squad of 15 players. Amir struggled after the conquest against India in the final of Champions Trophy 2017 in England. He bowled 101 overs during this period with just 5 wickets to his name at 92.60. He will travel to England though, for 5 ODIs.
The other unlucky player to miss out is Mohammad Rizwan, after scoring 2 hundreds against Australia in UAE, he has been left out as well. Asif Ali is also a notable drop from the CWC 2019 squad of Pakistan. Pakistan play their first game against West Indies on 31st May, 2019 at Nottingham. Sarfaraz Ahmed will lead the Pakistani cricket team.
