Jofra Archer took five wickets in the second innings of the first Test and missed the second Test due to injury.
England fast bowler Jofra Archer is expected to be fit to play the third Test against South Africa in Port Elizabeth after the scans confirmed no serious damage on his right elbow. The another fast bowler Mark Wood is also likely to be available for third game
This is a good sign for the visitors who have struggled with illness and injury problems on the tour. Archer was declared unfit for Cape Town Test after reporting a sore elbow during a training session ahead of the match.
Meanwhile Wood has not played a Test for national side since the final match in West Indies in February. He had sustained a serious side stain in the ICC Cricket World Cup final this summer. The fast bowler is now bowling in the nets with good pace and seems to be perfectly fit for the match.
