Nathan Lyon was excellent with ball in hand and picked up his 17th five for in Test career.
Australian off-spinner Nathan Lyon took his five wicket-haul against New Zealand in third Test at Sydney to give Australia a chance to clinch three-match series 3-0. New Zealand, in the absence of their regular skipper Kane Williamson, were bowled out for 251 in the first innings on day three against Australia.
Lyon got five wickets for the first time ever in his international career at Sydney Cricket Ground. The bowler helped his national side to claim first-innings’ massive lead of 243. Pat Cummins continued his great form and started 2020 with a bang as the fast bowler picked-up three wickets.
The hosts were 40/0 at the end of day 3 of Sydney Test. Opening batsmen David Warner and Joe Burns are batting unbeaten on 23 and 16 respectively.
