Marjaavaan had a decent hold on Tuesday as it brought in more 3.61 crores. The total now stands at 32.18 crores in five days. The film is doing pretty well at box office and is aiming to finish the first week around 38 crores.
The Sidharth Malhotra-Reteish Deshmukh starrer needs to stay strong in the second weekend as it will face battle at the box office from John Abraham-Anil Kapoor’s Pagalpanti. The film is earning better than many of Sidharth’s recent films.
Marjaavan has surpassed the lifetime business of Ittefaq. If Marjaavaan holds well on second Friday there are chances for the film to attain the hit tag.
Meanwhile Bala is continuing to collect good moolah in second week. Ayushmman Khurrana’s film collected 2.05 crores on second Tuesday which suggests a good trend. The film’s grand total stands at 95.04 crores.
Bala accumulated good numbers in just 12 days. The film is in second week and racing towards 100 crores. This will be third 100 crore earner overall and second straight century at box office for Ayushmann Khurrana in a row as his last outing, Dream Girl, also proved big money spinner at domestic box office. The latter will remain the actor’s highest grosser film till date.
Bala will sustain good screens for the third week too which will help the movie to collect a few more crores. The Amar Kaushik directional also stars Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar, is already a super hit affair and the final total will be around 110 crores.
