Lasith Malinga surpasses Shahid Afridi to become the most successful bowler in T20Is
Sri Lanka’s fast bowler Lasith Maling has left Pakistan’s leg-spinner Shahid Afridi behind to become the most successful bowler in T20 Internationals. Malinga needed two wickets to break Afridi’s 98 wickets record in the shortest format of the game against New Zealand in the first T20I in Pallekele.
Sri Lankan captain has achieved the milestone with removing Colin de Grandhomme. Malinga needs one more wicket to become the first bowler ever in T20Is to have 100 scalps. Currently the bowler, who is know for his slinging action, has 99 wickets in 74 games.
