Indian Captain Virat Kohli rested; Samson, Dube picked for T20Is against Bangladesh
India have named squads for Tests and T20Is against Bangladesh. India’s regular skipper Virat Kohli has been restest from the shorter version of the cricket. However, he will lead them in Test matches. Opening batsman Rohit Sharma to lead the side in T20I series, starting from November 3 in Delhi.
India have announced a 15-men squad for Bangladesh T20Is. They have recalled Sanju Samson in the team while Shivam Dube received his maiden call-up for India. Samson made his debut way back in 2015 against Zimbabwe. He has been recalled by the team after scoring record-breaking 212* in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
While Shivam Dube, Mumbai all-rounder, entring in as a like-for-like replacement for Hardik Pandya who is still recovering from a lower-back surgery. He has been added to the squad for his big-hitting ability at the back end of the innings.
From Test side, Shahbaz Nadeem has been left out as Kuldeep Yadav fit again for the bowling. Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya have not been included following their surgeries earlier this month for back injuries in the UK.
