Glamorgan signs Pakistan’s opener Fakhar Zaman for T20 Blast
Fakhar Zaman has been signed by Glamorgan for first half of their Vitality Blast campaign. Left hander has been named as a replacement for Australian injured batsaman Shaun Marsh. Marsh fractured his forearm after a blow from Pat Cummins in the nets during practice.
Zaman had a poor run in recently concluded Cricket World Cup in England. Though he is a very dangerous batsman specially in the shorter form of cricket. The 29-year old is available for eight matches. He as played 89 T20s so far and scored 2339 runs at an average of 28 and with really impressive strike rate of 139.
Glamorgan will start their journey on Thursday against Somerset.
