Friday Box Office: Hobbs & Shaw nabs $23.7 Million
Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw led all the movies on Friday with an estimated $23.7 million. The film is expected to have a three-day debut of $60+ million. It will be right on expectations. Hobbs & Shaw is heading towards the No. 1 at the domestic box office with a estimated $60 million opening weekend.
Universal’s Hobbs & Shaw will be above weekend holdovers, The Lion King and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The action flick is racing to a $120 million overseas total by the end of weekend. The Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham starrer is going to have around a $190 million global debut excluding China where the film will hit the screens on August 23.
