Cricket World Cup 2019: Winless Pakistan to take on West Indies
Pakistan will play their first match against the full of hard hitting batsmen, West Indies in Cricket World Cup’s 2nd match at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Pakistan have lost their last 10 consecutive matches while West Indies after leveling 5-match series 2-2 with one was washed out versus England reached final in the Tri-Nation series in Ireland.
Pakistan haven’t had the most ideal preparation for the mega event as they would have hoped for. They lost to Afghanistan in their first warm-up match, and their second match was wshed out without a ball bowled against Bangladesh. West Indies scored 421 runs in their last warm-up game against New Zealand which makes them a very dangerous team to face.
West Indies have all the batsmen who can hit the ball out of ground but that’s not the only thing they have right now, they have Shai Hope who has a super batting technique and he is in form of his life. They would want him to carry that BIG RESPONSIBILITY of scoring big runs in this tournament.
