Housefull 4 had a blast at the box office on day four which was Post-Diwali day – considered to be the best day for box office numbers. Akshay Kumar-Ritesh Deshmukh led film collected 34.56 crores on Monday to takes film’s total to 87.78 crores in just four days. The Big Monday was on the cards right from the start.
The comedy film is now all set to add another good numbers on Tuesday which will be a partial holiday around the country. Fourth film in the franchise needed some relief at the box office and that’s exactly happened. Big Monday has changed Housefull 4’s fate and now the movie will be looking at a 120 crore first week.
Farhad Samji directed is all set to cross 100 crore mark on Day 5. It will be third straight movie for Akshay Kumar to achieve that landmark in 2019 after Kesari (154 crs) and Mission Mangal (200 crs). After beating Golmaal Again (30.1 crs), Housefull 4 has now become the highest grosser Bollywood comedy film ever on Post-Diwali Day and fifth best overall behind Thugs of Hindostan (52.25 crs), Dilwale (44.9 crs), Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (40.3 crs) and Krrish 3 (35.9 crs).
Akshay Kumar scored his best single day at the box office with Housefull 4. The film also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde, Chunky Pandey, Johny Lever and Rana Daggubati, is on way to challange the 150 crore lifetime total.
